Here is some evidence----

I managed to take some close up pictures of my hand quilting for you as evidence that I really did hand quilt the quilt------

this is one of the snowball blocks--all the beige ones got one big star in the center--

The main design that went from one corner to the other corner I just quilted a straight line from corner to corner--

For the 4 real light snow ball blocks I did a echo stitch for 3 rows in the shape of the snow ball and then a smaller star in the center--with 3 rows around that--

The outer border I did big stars and in the corners I did a smaller star--and I just outlined the half blocks going around the quilt--

And here is the back of the quilt!!!!

Now on to some "fun" stuff----

Knock knock!  Who's there???
Boo!
Boo Who???
Ah, don't cry, Halloween is just around the corner!!!!

HERE IT IS!!!!!

MY OCTOBER SCHNIBBLES IS ALL DONE--even the binding is on it--take a looky-see==

IT IS so hard to actually show you all the hand quilting that is on it---I mainly did stars on the quilt--and echo quilting on some of the blocks--it did come out really nice--but I do like the colors in Sept. one better!!!  But those colors do not work for Fall--sooo!!!!

AND HERE IS A COUPLE MORE JOKES FOR YOU'ALL----

Monday-Monday!!

Yep--we are back to Monday again--or it was Monday a few hours ago--it's nearly over for this week already!!!!

How can you tell that Doctor Victor Frankenstein had a good sense of humor???
Because he kept his monster in stitches!!!!!!!    HA HA!!!
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
I did get a picture of the finished quilt top for Halloween today and here it is ----
And here is my friend Mary holding it up for the picture for me--
I see it is hard to tell--but the border is spider webs and there is orange eyes all over it--it really is cute for the border--Mary loves the quilt top so much that I am leaving it down to her apartment to enjoy for now!!
I am nearly done on the Cindy Lou pattern--all the hand quilting is done and I got the binding sewed on today--tomorrow I just have to tack down the back side and take out all the basting stitches---yes!!!!
What's a MUMMY"S favorite music?????
******************************************
wRAP music!!!!
Why did the monster eat a light bulb????
****************
Because he was in need of a light snack!~!!~!!
When does a skeleton laugh??????
******************
When something tickles his funny bone!!!!!!~~~~!!!!!!!!
And here is today's treat????
HUGS< DI
Here I am!!!
I am still here----
First of course is the answer to our little joke!!!
Why did the ghost starch her sheet?????
She wanted everyone to be scared stiff!!!!!  (Chuckle!!!!!)
Now ---Let's see -- what has Di been up to the last couple days---On Saturday, I did get the rest of the borders on the fall quilt (pictures tomorrow) and got more hand quilting done on the Cindy Lou quilt---Also little sister and I watched a movie--the Traveling Pants part 2--and I am happy to report that there was NO fires in town this time!!!!
Then I sat and read half a book--Beneath These Stones, by Ann Granger--that took me til 1:30 am this morning!!!!
Now today the sun shinned most of the day after a couple days of heavy rain--I spent some time downstairs with my friend Mary--then came home and had lunch--went to work on the Cindy Lou--but for some reason -- I had to lay it down and I walked into my sewing room
and I knew that I was to make one more gift for my Angel partner and I started to look around --but right there was the AU magazine--Handmade--that two of my Aussie friends had sent me and i knew immediately which project I was to do--so that is what I worked on all day--it is not finished--but it is coming along nicely!!!
As I was doing some hand work on this "secret" project--I looked out my window and I had to get up and get the camera and take these couple pictures from my window up here on the second floor---
How do you like that "blue sky" in the second picture????
Joke time--
How can you tell that Doctor Victor Frankenstein had a good sense of Humor?????
Only 5 more days to the big CANDY day?????? Are you ready??????
Leaf Day!!!
Let's see first we have to solve our little joke:
Why did the witches' team lose the baseball game???????
Their bats flew away!!!!!
OH WELL--I thought it was a cute joke????/
I was busy working away in my sewing room today and little sister came along and insisted we go for a walk--so I grabbed the camera and off we went--here is some things of "beauty" I seen on our way over to main street---
single fallen leaves--with rain drops on them--
a group of them on the sidewalk--
and in stead of the sound of music in the hills--we have the sound of "color"--
and on the way home I almost missed this beautiful one--
SO you see I do once in awhile do something besides sew!!!!!
But then here is a quilt project in progress--
this is what I was working on before we left and I worked on it some more when I got back--I am just doing my own thing here--I had collected some neat fall/halloweenish fabrics and really wanted to do something with them--I am not done yet---soooo!!!!
I also seen this in a store window display--yep--one of the stores has Christmas window displays already--sooo sad!!!!!   I did think this stocking was different--kinda cute really!!!!   sorry the picture is not real clear--took it though the window!!!
Time for another "ghost" joke:
Why did the ghost starch her sheet????
Have a happy and safe fun filled week end--don't for get to visit a Pumpkin Farm this week end!!!!!
Hugs, Di
