QUILT DISPLAYS!!!

Kelly at Cottoncharmquilts asked for her January 15th check-up---how we displayed our quilts -- so here is some of the ways I do mine--

I use them to "hide" things---under here is my copy machine and paper work for the computer, etc--

Sometimes I display quilts on top of quilts--

All my rocking chairs have their own quilts--they get changed with the holidays or seasons--

And here is a "real" original idea(!!!!!) As wall decorations!!!

Another wall one--this one is in my quilt room and hangs on the wall behind my "big boy" machine--
It is hard to see here but the blocks have things to do with quilting in the centers!!

this is a coat rack that I display in my little hall way--this quilt top is an old one--one of my girl friends was going to throw in the garbage---bad girl!!!

And the bottom of this cabinet in the bedroom holds other quilts--some are done and some are waiting to be quilted!!!

And here is the "best" way to display quilts---in a quilt rack---( and someday Di promises to work on this one and finish it---SOMEDAY!!!!!!!!?????????
That's all on this for now--folks!!

TODAY---
would you believe I actually did some  of this today--

I  did three loads today--and while waiting for the washer I knitted on another pink baby hat---while the last load was drying I ate lunch and did my recycle and took the garbage out--it is sooo nice here to take out the garbage--it is in a room all inside--so I only have to put my shoes on to take it out---(as soon as I come in the door off comes my shoes--why???? who knows!!!!)  So by the time the laundry was done so was I!!!!!

I did do some hand embroidery--on the Sentimental journey block (bom) and then Yesterday MissyMack gave us 3 more blocks on her Sringybark Farm series and I worked on sizing them to the right size and I even learned a couple new tricks using the computer--then I got them traced off and after supper I got 2 of them colored in with colored pencils---I really like that part!!!

SNOWMAN REPORT---

NOW THIS IS WHAT WE HAD HERE TODAY AND IT WAS WARM!!!  SO THIS IS THE OUT COME--

POOR FROSTY---BUT DON'T WORRY TOO MUCH HE MAY SURPRISE US YET AND RETURN?????????

GUESS WHAT TOMORROW IS-----
      NATIONAL POPCORN DAY----

SO BE SURE TO POP SOME UP AND ENJOY!!!

 Hugs---from a "clean" --Di&Co.

Love all your quilts. Don't go too far and get into the "C" problem again!

I love your quilts. Your pics made me realise that so far I have given away the things I have made!

Okay - you're TOO cool - what a GREAT idea - hiding things with quilts. I love it, I love it, I love it. Does this mean I don't have to "C" anymore? I'll just tell hubby I'm going to hide the dust bunnies...LOL Oh, how I love this idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The project I am currently working on is the quilt on your rocking chair.

Di - I don't know how we came across one another but I want to tell you simply: "I like you."

They all look so pretty no matter where you hang them!!! Can't wait to get into my house and decorate it. Must find one of your Hoosier cabinets somewhere. You have done so much other work lately that you should be able to sew nonstop for months and not worry about it. Have fun!
