I WAS BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER----

THIS POST HAS SOME VERY MIXED EMOTIONS--so hang on to your hat!!!!

First a friend "stood me up" this morning--she was going to come and help me get some of my cast-off's over to the SPCA thrift store--now this is just a 2 block walk--but I had alot---any ways to make a long story -- short--by noon I was really upset and just set out by myself and a wagon full and some in my arms and off I went--made it down with first load and came back and got next load---I still have a couple things here--but they will wait for the next time!!!

I was eating lunch when I see the mail truck pull in--and as I am expecting some packages -- I went down--
I had three come in today--joy---
came and took a picture of the three of them--
Then I had to decide which one to open first???
The largest one won--that is when I realized that it was from my blog friend-Robin--not from one of my orders----now what is Robin sending me--how did she know what tomorrow is???
I open it and this is what I found---
A card about Hugs-- and a Quilt--now this gets even BETTER--
Robin and friends--you made me cry all day---
the whole quilt--
This quilt was just not from Robin--but Robin master minded the project--when she read about "MY" Mary--she got in touch with some of my other faithful followers and asked them if they would like to make me a block to go on a quilt as a memory quilt for Mary---Robin and friends--NO words can express how this made me feel--I cried and cried--from the pain of losing Mary and from the joy and thankfulness of blog friends---each of you has a piece of my heart now and forever!

I called daughter Mary and all of "my" Mary's family will be here on Friday--and she will call me when they are all here so I can go down and show them the quilt and share it with all of them---they will be soooo pleased--girls!

Thank you to: Anne-Lise, Diane, Maria,  Jen, Cecelia, Sinta, Sunny, Mary,  Alice, Nola, and of course Robin!!!!

Now I hope you will forgive me for not showing you my other two packages today---this post belongs to the "Quilt"!!!

Looks like it was a very good mail day. I don't like it when the mailman brings nothing but advertisements or worse yet.....bills like he did today.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the quilt. Robin is a wonder master-mind - isn't she. Consider yourself hugged whenever you wrap up in it.
