CAMEO AND QUILTING---??????

Oh my--this is turning into some adventure!!!
and I am not sure who is  the "bigger" problem--Di or Cameo??????

Cameo--is a great Kitty---who likes to eat---all day if I gave her the moist food!!!!
But-----so far in the four days she's been here--two of those days she has managed to
"return" all the food she has eaten--on the floor or the chair!!!!
so now I am being really careful not to give her any thing that Amy did not feed her--just her fancy feast and Science diet--(she does not like the S. diet!!!)
Di is having a problem with the kitty litters---and it seems Cameo likes the ones Di can't handle---so--------??????????
And therefore Cameo has not used the litter box all day--even when I put some of the other kind back in there---so I am worried!!!!

Lets talk quilting---that I know about!!!!
Got another bom done--
Of course the cat block!!!
Almost have another bom done!!!

But this months Schnibbles has been delightful to make this time--
I am doing "Short Story"--
Step 1--
Was picking the charm packs--I chose "Bouquet" by Chez Moi for moda--
Then I got the blocks all sewed by last evening---
Then today I did--
sew all the blocks together--that was fun--making sure that they came out with each one flipped in a different direction for the pattern--
Then I added--
the inside border--chose to do a print from the line instead of the pale green--
Then I did--

outer border--- I had alot of the green strips left--so I used some in the border to lighten the border up some--
Yes even Cameo---approves!!
I just love this one--I love the colors--I think it is one of my favorites!!!!!!

Mail Call---
An order came in today--
I had a credit of $5.00 from equilter--
and I just love these quilting needles--so wanted to get another package--so also shopped there clearance pages and found these 3 fabrics--
and --
this panel--only I did not know it was a panel--all they showed was the two birds--and I already have some of the fabric with the hats that is in the background---but I do love this panel--soooo!!!!!

It would seem I am on a "roll" here for August---
Yet there is soooo many more projects on the list for this month?????

Time for LOL--
Scene--a conversation between two of my friends.
Friend #1--Are you visiting us tomorrow?  Do you need directions?
Friend #2--I'm all set. I have the address, a GPS, and a GPS override.
Friend #1--What's a GPS override?
Friend #2--My wife!!!!!
(reader digest)
Hey it sounded funny the first time I read it and made me laugh--oh well--I tried!!!

Hugs, Di and maybe -- Cameo!!!!

Hi Di! You know, I had a kitty who loved to eat but threw up a lot. I found the key with her was to feed her little bits at a time...like a teasponful, two or three times a day. She had Cat Chow available to her all the time...she didn't scarf that down so that stayed "put." Some cats just throw up more than others. Or it could just be that she still needs to settle down, settle her stomach, etc. Hopefully it stops soon!!

I think Short Story may be my favorite too. Not sure, but it is gorgeous and it has the Cameo seal of approval. Brutus is a cutie too. You are way ahead of the rest of us as usual. L,A-

The quilt is beautiful! Sounds like Cameo might be eating too much too fast? And she might not eat the dry catfood if she thinks she can hold out for the yummy stuff. I expect she will settle down soon.

Oh dear...kitty upset stomach is not good. Like humans, critters will binge on all the naughty food and not eat the healthy stuff like the Science Diet. Hope you get that all worked out. It can be stressful I know.
Love your BOM and the quilt girlfriend. Beautiful!

Short Story is so pretty! Sorry Cameo is having settling in issues. Just a few spoons at a time of soft is good or none. Dry is better for teeth. We switched from SD to Iams indoor kitty food because Cocoa would not eat the SD either! New litter boxes can be stressful for kitties too.
Just give it some time. Hope it works out.
Hugs,
Lola

I hope Cameo tummy settles soon as well as Di's when it comes to the Litter.

I love your "Short Story" Quilt.

Boy you are fast Di. I have only downloaded the Cat BOM and still have to do last months too.

Your kitty embroidery block is darling. " Miss Cameo" looks alittle bummed out by your computer but I must admit that is a great picture along with your caption!!! Hope she is feeling better soon. Thanks for sharing. Carolyn

Love your scnibbles and your latest catalicious stitching!! Hope Cameo settles done and you get the feeding ETC right soon. At least she know the proper cat habits like sleeping on quilts!!

What we do for our finicky doggie is mix a bit of moist food in with her dry food. Stir it up real good so the dry gets stuck in the moist. Plus, we only give the moist a couple times a week as a treat.

Now, for the kitty litter...Same principle as with the food. If she was used to a certain kind of kitty litter but you need to switch it due to the odor you can do the same thing as the food. If you can tolerate it try mixing 50% old the old with 50% of the new. Then every couple days make the ratio more of the new and less of the old. Cameo should get used to it in about a week hopefully.
