TUESDAY--BETTER!!!!!

Must say that things went "smoother" today in feeding the kittens--
He had kept the "blockade" open for us--and those babies were sitting in the middle of the garage just awaitin for us!!!

And my hope it to start getting them out of there--
three of them are really getting very friendly now and mill around my feet and I can pet them alot--but need to pray for the one we have called Meme--she will not eat with the rest nor have I been able to pet her as of yet!!!!

We are going in tomorrow to crate one of them and she is off to the Vets for the regular things--then Carol and I are taking her to her place and will work on her some more to comb her for the fleas---so that may be "fun"!!!!!  Morris was really good about all this--but each cat is different--soooo--and Morris was only 14 weeks--where as now these are 4-5 months old!!!!!

And talkin kitties this is what I made today--
I took one of the free flannel pillow cases from the rummage sale days and I turned it inside out and then restitched the end of it--then I ---
filled it up half way with my little fabric scraps and batting scraps--
then--
stitched it across the pillow --
turned the pillow case back over itself--which put the design on the outside and stitched the end seams--
See here---then re fluffed it some and --
we have one nice soft cat bed that can be easily laundered!!!

Then I needed to make some cat nip toys--
these is how mine come out--
I make long tubes--put some cat nip in first--then add some scraps again--
til about 1/2 full--add alittle more cat nip--
fill with more stuffing/scraps and add a bit more cat nip--
and the cats just love this design--my cat "Bear" loved them--they are long enough that they can hang on them with their front paws and kick it with their back paws!!!
I made 8 of them--
by the time I was done with them--
I was also "calm" and had to take a nap!!!!!
Took one over to Morris--
he cat proofed it for me--
I did a great job--he said!!!!
As today was Tuesday--my friend Anne, did come--we did stitch alittle while before I had to go feed the kitties--Anne is a cat lover herself and has about 8 inside ones--so
she stayed here and kept stitching--when I got back we did got to Walmart--then went out to lunch--we had Chicken BarQue Sandwich--yum!!!
so this has been my day mostly---
kittens and some sewing--
can't ask for a better one!!!

Be good--
Hugs, Di

I'm so glad the kittens got fed today without any problems. Good luck tomorrow with the de-fleaing.
It is so nice of you to take good care of these poor babies.

Hope you can get them all Di.
We had to use live traps to get all the kitties my MIL had around her home at one time.. almost 30!!! Were in very bad health with inner breeding. Sad. These too begin with drop offs on the farm.
The traps do not hurt them.
Good luck.
