OKay-- LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN--

This is the cabin we stayed in for the 3 days that we were in New Hampshire!!
and this is the view I had from the dinning room window--
and this is the flower bush outside the cabin--
And these 'babies' where in bloom everywhere we went!!!
And talk about rocks--
New Hampshire has 'little' ones!!!!!
Opps--I mean they have large ones--and I mean large ones!!!!
and it was neat to see these large boulders everywhere--you saw them beside homes--
in shopping mall yards--everywhere--the other really neat thing about NH was the trees--
they only cut down the ones they needed to put up something--so there was trees and woods everywhere--just loved it--and the lakes where sooo beautiful!!!

Okay--I know that you are 'chamin at the bit" to see some of the treasures I came home with--
so here is a taste--

Some books--
some patterns--
some new toys!!!

and a lot of dirty clothes!!!!

Today was Anne's day--
we visited for awhile and then she went and got her mother and we went to TOPS grocery store--
I also had to stop by the Vet's office for some hairball medicine for Miss Gracie--
she is having a BIG problem with going potty--she did not go "pooh" the whole time I was gone and then she did alittle the night I came home and nothing since--if she has not went good by tomorrow I will have to take her in to see the Vet!!!!
Then the 3 of us went out to lunch--came home and grabbed the laundry and went downstairs and did two loads of clothes!!!

So I guess I am getting back into the 'grove' again--darn!!!!
Though I can't wait to get this place whipped into shape so I can really get back to sewing and the likes!!!!

Well--time to go for now--
I promise more pictures of the trip and stories hopefully tomorrow night--
they are saying storms again for us--so I won't promise!!!
In the mean time--
Hugs to you all--
Di and that crazy loving kitty-
Miss Gracie
Ps--for those 'who' want to know--
miss gracie has done her --- well you know what--
I feel so much better now!!!--and miss gracie does too I bet!!!!

Well, I guess my invitation to go along must have got lost in the mail. Seriously, I'm very happy that you were able to get away for a few days. The little cabin looks adorable. Did you do anything beside shop?? Not that there's anything wrong with shopping, of course. LOL!

Di, what a lovely getaway place! Thanks for sharing the shots of the lakes and boulders! lol

I get a catalog called "Keepsake NeedleArts". I think this is a branch of "Keepsake Quilting". Is it in Center Harbor, NH? I'm looking forward to your new creations with your goodies.

So glad to hear Miss Gracie "performed" and doesn't have to go see the vet. I guess she knows you're home for awhile. ;-)
