ON TIME-----

Yes--staying home does get more done--
and I am right on schedule for my SAL blocks for the week--
Here is Monday's and Tuesday's--
And here is today's--
Just one more block for the first row to do tomorrow--
then next week I want to do the embroidery on each block---
Now I do, now, realize that I do not need to have these blocks done until the end of December--
not the first of December--but plan to keep it to the first--then I have the whole month of December to just do Christmas things--soooooo!!!!!

Last night I did start this redwork project==
I did order the stenciled on pattern from Bird Brains--
it is already printed on a water soluble fabric and all you have to do is remove the backing and smooth it to the fabric and start stitching--I can handle that--wished they would print out the other Angel stocking pattern they carry--I have boughten the pattern--but it is more detailed that this one--so would be great if it was already done!!!
Now you can order this 'fabric' to trace unto yourself--but my printer did not seem to like it--sooo!!!

And today I was able to get this project planned out and prepped and even started on the applique--
can you tell what it is yet??????

And this morning I finally got all the white embroidery blocks to the Gardner's Journal quilt --
all hand quilted--
so now it is back to quilting the blocks around the embroidery blocks!!!!!!

And on Monday and Tuesday I got some new things installed in the apartment--
new drain pipes under the kitchen sink and the bathroom sinks--
and--
 a new toilet!!!
theses are the new higher ones--
(yes I need a small stool so my feet touch the floor !!!!)
but they are water saving and I mean they will probably see a big drop in the water bill here now that mine is done--my old one took forever to fill and shut off --this one is really fast--and for the elderly here they are much easier for them to get up and off of them---
so I have now 'graduated' to another 'level' of senior living!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I would chuckle to myself the whole time the guy was putting them in--
as he talked to himself and the 'pipes' or whatever the whole time--
now I know how I sound all day????????????

Welllllll---time to get back to work---
don't forget the canned gravy to have on hand next week for Turkey day--
just in case you either run out or-----???????

Hugs, Di and her silly kitty!!!!
PS--Miss Gracie "thinks" she is cooking the Turkey!!!!!

You amaze me, Di, with all the different projects you work on at the same time! They are beautiful pieces! Can’t wait to see the finished projects!

Glad you have ‘graduated’ with the higher profile toilets. They ARE nice!

Enjoy your turkey dinner and make sure to save some turkey for Miss G.!
