IT IS SUNDAY EVENING HERE--

It has been a cold one here--
but nice and warm inside the apartment--
I have mostly hand quilted today or been here on the computer working--

some of the bom's for 2012 started today--
so was looking in to them and doing some copying of the patterns --
Now to decide how many and which ones I would like to do--
there is soooo many neat ones out there--
yet I keep reminding myself of all the 'wip's' in the closet ????
so what is a girl suppose to do????

I did watch this movie last night--
And I decided this was a 'guy chick flick'--
one of the first I have seen in a long time--
did enjoy it--but---
you can tell it was really a 'man's' bucket list!!!!
At least that is my story and I am sticking to it!!!!

Today I did find some fabrics for a Valentine project--
Now if the quilt fairy will just show up--
oh there she is--
and now she can put this one together for me!!!

And then one of the bom's that Anne is doing at Bunny Hill is the Dresden plates--
and I thought this layer cake would be a great one for that project--
But now I need the ruler---
yep--don't have this one--
I even cleaned out my ruler drawer--just to be sure--but 'me' no find!!!!

Have a great evening and enjoy what ever it is that you are doing tonight!!
and if you are where it is going to be really really cold--may you stay nice and warm!!!

Hugs, Di and miss gracie

I'm glad you had a productive WARM day today, Di! Have fun with your various projects and that you are taking breaks here and there. "The Bucket List" is a great movie! Did you cry at the end? Gotta have that box of Kleenex nearby.

I want to join the Dresden quilt along but there is so much on the to do list. I was thinking maybe I will make a pillow cover or table topper/runner instead of a large quilt. That way I can join everyone without a big commitment.

The movie looks great, haven't see it yet! Dresden plates must be in the air, because I just bought a special ruler for making dresden plates it is from EZ Quilting and is called the Easy Dresden ruler. Don't know when I'll get to use it, hopefully soon!!!
