THE DAY AFTER--

a fun day of shopping means only one thing--
back to work!!!!
And I was a good girl--
First--

I did the laundry!!
and it was earlier than I usually end up down there in the laundry room--
I was done by 12:30 pm--
so I had all the rest of the day to playwork!!!

And again I was a good girl and went to the sewing room--
and played with the 'new' tool and got these all made up--
Lots of little fans for the Dresden plates--wanted to create some plates--
but---
I first have to work on a ufo--
so this months is this one--
I sorta got side tracked last year at the half way point--
and it just happens that I am doing not one, but two--
so today I got the other 6 letters to both of them traced and ready for stitching--
and even got one started stitching before that all important 'nap' time!!!!

Now I have to decide what to do about this month's Schnibbles---
I have 2 charm packs of "Always & Forever"--reds, pinks, and white with a touch of green in some--
I do not think they will work in this months Schnibbles pick--
so now what to do--
--wait until next year to worry about a Valentine quilt in this line--??
--or find another quilt pattern for a Val quilt and do it up--??
--and do the Schnibbles in a line that I think it will look better in and that I already do have the fabric for just sitting there on the shelf waiting for something special--??
--or do I just forget 'both' quilts for now and keep working on other projects--??
--oh my what decisions--
not sure I can do both this month--
a Val and the Schnibbles with all the other things going--
so what am I to do--friends????

Hope everyone is having a great week end--
Hugs, from Miss Gracie and---

Well, Di, I would work on one or more of the already-started projects. But I have a sneaky suspicion that won't be your course of action! lol Eager to hear what you decide to do. ;-)

Hugs to you both!

Well, I think you have been quite disciplined up till now with catching up with uncompleted projects, so I figure why break the cycle LOL! I would opt for finishing up UFO's, but of course if you're anything like me, your eye will wander off the goal post and you'll want to play in another part of the (quilting) field LOL!!!
I guess it all depends on how much will power you have LOL! Have you discussed this with Miss Gracie?
I'll await the outcome LOL..... enjoy your weekend!!!

Tough decision! I decided on a Valentine's quilt wall hanging, but I won't have time to make it this year. I'll be waiting to see what you decide.

Hee hee hee--it's only the 5th and you are super sewer, so I am guessing you will do both and finish several other things as well.
Put on your cape and mask and have fun no matter what you decide to do.

Oh boy, decisions are one thing that torture me. I always want everything perfect so I agonize over things before I decide. I mean the important things, like quilting! well, whatever you decide I'm sure it will be perfect.
And good for you for doing all the cleaning after a day of shopping. You are a very busy lady, aren't you?

Hello Diane

Just wanted to say hello, and that I really am enjoying your blog!

As for your dilema...I think you should find another valentines pattern for the "Always & Forever" fabric. And if you can refrain for starting it, just pick out a fabric for your Schnibbles quilt at the end of the month. This way you have something for valentines this year, can finish a WIP and have incentive to get it all done!!

Haha or be crazy like me and try to do it all at once :P

Can't wait to see what you choose!
