SLOWER WORKING TODAY

I was a bit slower today--
not that I wanted to be--
but Miss Gracie and I are having reactions to the wood smoke from 2 houses up the street--it is really heavy in the air--last night and today--soooooo????
But---you know me--
I still  plugged along--
got the borders on this one--
this is not a good picture--sorry--
the back and batting and binding are all done--
now to baste it and hand quilt it!!!!
and--
got the batting and backing done for this one--
now to baste it and hand quilt it--
think 'me's'  hand quilting pile is getting 'higher and higher'--!!!!

Did do some more work on this months Schnibbles--
just some easy sewing of the blocks for the checkerboard panels--
and I got 4 more block pieces trimmed and squared up--

and then I actually got some applique done today--
I now have 'January's' 2 blocks done for the SAL with Chookyblue--
Won't do the embroidery on these until the other 3 blocks are done and it is all together in a strip--with the batting on the back--it was nice to just sit and applique this afternoon.

Well--no real decision on the 'yellow bean' quilt yet--
not in a big hurry now--will maybe look around a bit more before I decide????

Well--you all be good and stitch, stitch, and stitch some more!!!!!
Hugs, Di and her fur ball--Miss Gracie

At least you can see progress!! I can't do anything right now due to my hands hurting so bad. So I feel kind of lost. Hope they heal soon. Be thankful for your hands.

I'm glad to hear you are getting so much progress made on ALL your various projects!

I have to take things rather slow on this new x-stitch project. The fabric is VERY stiff and hard to get the needle into the holes. I have never had Aida cloth this stiff. And lately I've developed a pain in my thumb joint on my right hand, which is aggravated by having to hold the needle to pull it through the fabric. ~sigh~ Getting too old too fast!

Sorry about the smoke issues. Miss G. suffers too??? Even with your windows closed you have problem with it? Wow.

HUGS!!!
