WHAT IS IN MY HANDS--

I know you all think that I am not stitching--
but I am--
this is the quilt that--
I am hand quilting on now--
I am nearly on the last row of flying geese blocks going around the outside--
then I will just have the border to do!!

And--
Missing--
One Dresden plate!!!!
I got my Dresden plates out yesterday to get the last '6' basted--
and then to get them appliqued--
Remember these from last year (or so??)
well--I was sure that I had '6' already finished--
but only found '5' done--
so you know how it goes--
you think you just 'remembered' wrong--
and you have '7' to finish--
but---
there was only '6' to finish--
and I am happy to say that I did get them all basted on to the white background--
and one more is appliqued--
BUT--where oh where is #12 block????
Have you seen it??????

Have a great beautiful day, today!!!
love, di and miss gracie

When I first skimmed over this post, I was reading the part about your Dresden's and I kept throwing an R into basted... and wondered, what the heck??? Seems like all is good... with the exception of a missing one... but if you make another the 12th will no doubt show up. I love your Summer Day Schnibbles... all ready for the fourth!

You are going to be all ready for 4th of July with that pretty quilt. And I promise I didn't take the Dresden plate. Hope it shows up so you don't have to redo it.

I love your flying geese in red, white and blue. It is going to be so fun to have it done and enjoy the patriotic feeling it will give you.

The flying geese project looks to be quite a good size quilt, a nice one to sit with and quietly quilt away at!!! I have some unfinished Dresdens too, somewhere.....
