IN THE PINK--

that is our color for the month--
Did I ever 'tell' you that Pink is my favorite color????
**********************************
I am joining in a SAL for the month of May--
at Happy to be Scrappy--vtquilter.blogspot.com
We are doing one heart applique block a day for the May--
And here is my choice--the charm pack is called 'Caroline by Moda'--
designer is Brenda Riddle--and can you guess why I chose this one???
( I did pick out a couple other blocks as there is some really light colored ones in this pack--
so may want to replace them with brighter prints and those are the ones behind the charm pack--)
I got all my background pieces cut and one weeks worth of hearts cut out ready to applique!!
There is a link up on her site if you want to join in!!
so see you over there!!

**************************************

and this months monthly goal is this quilt--

a 1930's pinwheel one--
I counted and there is more than "40" of those pinwheels on this quilt-
so will have to average an hour a day for the month to  get this one done--
ouch!!!!
*************************************
And I send these pretty flowers
to all my readers on this first day of May--

   ENJOY EVERY FLOWER YOU SEE--DI

Such pretty hearts you have prepped! That will be a pretty quilt. Love your hand quilting project - I have not seen a pinwheel shaped like that. So neat - looks like it is waving!

Happy May Day to you! I love your little heart project so much that I just went and signed up, too! I'll have to find fabric and make two tomorrow to get caught up. I remember when you made your pinwheel quilt. Won't it be nice to have it finished??

I LOVE the Pinwheel quilt. I think this is my favorite of all the ones you have made. (IF you decide to make a queen sized one, I will be very happy to take it off your hands. LOL)
Thank you for the flowers. Hope the warmer weather is making you feel better. Hugs!

Love the pinwheels and I love hearts so I'll have to pop over and see what's going on. Definitely not going to be doing a heart a day but I do have this gorgeous 30's repo fabric that is just looking to be made into something by hand.
