Like I said we drove miles and miles in the beautiful green
and lush country side--

and we finally arrived at Quilt shop #2--
This one is called 'Golden Lane Fabrics--
and was smaller than the first one--but had lots of bolts of fabric just the same--
I got these 3--
the red, teal and grey one will probably be the border on a quilt I have in the works--
with alot more of this line-but all the pieces I have are just charm size--so I was excited to see this one by the yard--
and I love the boots one--
and I always look for nice yellows anywhere I go--as they really are hard to find!!!
For this shop the best colors where outside the shop--along the front--
and then they had this--
a hitching post for the horses and this one looks well used!!!!
and then if you looked directly across the street--
was another farm with lots of apple trees--
it was a really pretty sight--could of stood there all day drinking it in!!!
I did not take any pictures of the Amish--
as they do not like to have their pictures taken--
hey--maybe I am Amish--as I hate to have my picture taken toooooo!!!!

Happy week to all--
hugs, di and miss gracie

  1. LOL! We have a hitching post at work! This used to be a medical office building, and there's still a dentist in one part of the building. KMart, Lowe's and WalMart also have hitching posts. I'm so glad you had such an enjoyable day.

  2. More pretty fabric!! I love those boots--too cute. And such pretty flowers.

  3. Woo hoo! Road trip to fun places! Great fabrics Di.
