TRUE CONFESSIONS!!!!!

Yep--time for the truth--that is if I know what the truth is?????

You see here are some pictures of my apartment right now---and the TRUTH is these things are things I need to do:

A bag of apples ready and waiting to be made into an apple pie--( there is even a new half gallon of Vanilla ice cream in the freezer for the top of it!!!)

the cook books with that recipe and the recipes for the Christmas cookies are sitting next to the bag of apples!!!!

these are 3 Christmas totes--that are "patiently" waiting for me to finish letting me -- use them to add some more glitter and shine and sparkle to the apartment!!!

this "poor" tree needs it's new string of lights that I did buy and they are---

here in this messy "pile" on the table--also waiting "patiently" to be called into service!!!

These things have found there way to sit in this rocker--but this is not where they want to be--they would like a place of "honor" somewhere in the apartment--so they can say "happy holiday" too---OH Dear ME---forgot to take care of the fall vest????

Now for those of you who "thinks" I get soo much done in a day--I must confess--I DO--if it has the word---FABRIC---SEW--QUILT in it I can do it---but---I think me has a problem wanting and doing the other "stuff"?????

Have fun tomorrow--it will be Friday---AGAIN---and after Friday comes the "WEEK END"

and to those of us who are into the "winter weather--may our heat stay on and may we all keep warm"!!!!

EVERY DAY SHOULD BE CHRISTMAS?????

OH MY--somebody was singing this on the stereo today---I know they were talking/meaning in how loving and kind and giving people are at this time of year that we should carry this "attitude" with us and use it year round!!!!

Well -- that is not what I mean by this saying tonight??????

I have decided that I need to WORK on Christmas items for an hour every single day--365 days a year so that I can get all the things done for Christmas that I would like to get done!!!!!!

And remember I even spent the month of August making christmas things--but "me" thinks I was working on the wrong kind of things---

I should of been doing the small ornaments that I want to send in my cards and I should of been working on gifts---no more quilts and wall hangings?????

Anyway this is how I feel tonight and I am sticking to it!!!!!!

I GOT MAIL TODAY----

I GOT the things that I won recently over on fatcatquilts.typepad.com---I won the 3 1/2yards of snowflake fabrics and the two spools of thread--blue is another one of my very favorite colors--pink is my favorite the rest of the year--anyways--Allyson also sent me the cutest Santa post it note pad and a cute Holiday Wish List pad and a real pretty quilt card---THANK YOU SOOO VERY MUCH--Allyson---I have entried many drawings since I started blogging--but this is my first real win--so be sure to "pop" over and say Happy Holidays to Allyson for me.

And look what my friend found for me today---My blue glitter and a few more colors--so tomorrow night I will be "sparkling" when I am writing to you all!!!!

And today's work was finding and sewing on borders to two of the Christmas projects and then I managed to get all three basted--now if these guys would show up tomorrow----

And I sure hope they work "cheap" and "fast"----we just might get some work accomplished!!!!!!!!

MY "SEWING" WENT TO THE DOGS TODAY!!!

YOU---think I am kidding as most of you know that I do not own a dog--even though I would love to have one---but I did sew for my friends doggie today--

There is 16 dog scarves here for this guy and his friends--

and I make these out of these--

My friend buys the cotton square scarves and I can make 4 dog neck scarves from each one and then she slips the scarf on his collar and he has a cute scraf for all the world to see---this dog has a larger wardrobe that you or me--I do believe now!!!!!

This morning was the day my friend -- Anne comes and we quilt--I worked on the Tisket/tasket block for Dec--got alot of it done--but it is not finished (too many dog collar's and phone calls)

I did get the binding sewed on one of my carndinal wall hangings--now to just tack it to the back and one more project will be complete--maybe I will have more time tomorrow?????

 The one that is done or nearly so is the bottom one!!!!

WEATHER FORECAST--FOR upper PA and New York State---SNOW--THEN SLEET--THEN RAIN--and that will take all the pretty snow away and we will be back to the same look as we started with---ONLY---wetter!!!!!!!!!   It sure don't make any sense to me!!!!!!

Angels work for God and watch over kids when God has to go do something else.

A NEW WEEK BEGINS----

MICE ARE IN THE NEWS!!!!

You all remember that this summer I did an embroidery of the Christmas Mice by Cinderberry Stitches and then used it for a give away and Anne-Lise in Norway won it!!!

Well today I got the final stitches done on the second one--this time "hopefully" I will keep it for me-self!!!!

The top to rows go on the borders--now I have to decide on fabrics for finishing it!!!!

OH---NOW I SEE WHY I HAVE " SO MANY" MICE IN MY HOUSE--some one is sleeping on the job!!!!!!!
