DEAR SANTA----

Dear Santa---
-----OH MY--I can not believe you are actually asking me what I would like for Christmas--I honestly have not be asked that question in years!!!!  I do get some gifts now and then (on the years I have been extra good) but I just get what "other Santa's want to give me!!!

OH WOW--I did do some shopping at your "warehouse" the Fat Quarter Shop--and here is my WISH LIST:

I do have a little problem here --- then what else is new with me!!!!

I LOVE THIS PATTERN AND HAVE WANTED EVER SOOOO LONG---

Le Jardin by Bunny Hill--Anne is even on my blogsite list and we have even emailed each other---so I would love to do this one and I would love to do it in this line---

I did not even realize at first --but this is Anne's new line and wouldn't she LOVE to see her pattern done in her new line--I think she would --Santa!!!!

SO SANTA I HAVE even put out your very "favorite" snack to enjoy while you read and consider my wish list!!!!

Hugs, Di

PS--If you should decide to full fill one or both items on my list--this is how I will feel--

To my blogging friends--Di will be back tomorrow with her "usual" chit chat" for this station--but you can tune her in at her other site--
Di's workbasket for a cute update there!!!!

Take a break and give some one a "hug" today that you might now normally think about doing---leave me a comment that you did--might be a "surprise" in it for you???????

TOTAL SURPRISE!!!

I was totally "surprised" today when I went down to get the mail--I had 3 packages--two I knew about--

Here is another "one penny" book from amazon that I ordered--got some cute and neat patterns in it and some of the items aren't quilts--so that was nice--

And this package came in--now I want to take a Christmas break--HEY--DO YOU THINK WE COULD PUT A HOLD ON CHRISTMAS DAY FOR AWHILE??????--I want to play with the Tuffets pattern--seen acouple done around blogland and they are sooo cute--and--blog friends who quilt--if you have not gotten this magazine--100 Blocks--I say "run--run--run--as fast as you can" to pick one of these up--they are only $5.99--as it is a magazine--not a book--and let me tell you it is a WONDERFUL MAGAZINE--these blocks are to die for--and I think we should start a "100 Club" and do some of them and post them---JUST BEAUTIFUL--so go buy yourself an early gift--you deserve it!!!!

An then there was this PACKAGE---came all the way from NORWAY and it was not an exchange or swap---just a gift of love--from---

My very "special" friend Anne-Lise of Ragtagbobtails.blogspot.com--Anne-Lise was my very first commenter on the blog site  and we have become friends in the last 10 months that I have been blogging---SO ANNE-LISE--THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY HEART SING TODAY--it needed that!!!

Went to the Library today and these followed me home--along with some other ones--now when do you think I will get to read them as these guys are still missing--

I think by the looks of them they like their "old" boss --better than me--!!!!!

I probably do too much "whinning" for them to stay around and more than likely this little lady bakes better than I do---

AND I have it from a good source that they keep one of these in their back yard--

So there "milk" is fresher than mine----OH well!!!!!

Have fun today and don;t forget to take a break and to look at all your pretty decorations and "smile" at a job well-done!!

Hugs, Di

THE STAR!!!!

Many Christmas cards make the statement---"Wise Men will seek Him"--
We are all still "seekers" today--but when we follow the light of the star--
it will take us to same place as it did years ago for the wise men--
it will take us right to the Savior!!!

Hugs and Blessings to all--Di

THESE "GUYS" WERE A NO SHOW TODAY!!!!!

SOOOOO I had to manage to work all day by myself---(of course--you know me -- I did do alittle bit of sewing!!!)--  Ok where did I start today----

Another vintage apron--this one is on the ironing board by my primitive trees at the end of the Hoosier---

I bought this homemade stocking and the angel at the same booth at one of our Christmas Village day sales--both are made from old vintage fabrics--they are not my normal colors--but I do love them--they are on my bathroom door!!!

the smallest of the three primitive trees that I have--this one has hand knitted mittens on it and some Ice skates--some of the mittens I have gotten at craft shows some I have done myself--the two bears came from the Church sale this summer!!!!

This angel I made years ago--she made from lamp card stock and I made her at a work shop in York PA--I truly can not believe she has held up so well all of these years -- I just love her!!!!  she is on top of the mitten tree this year!

Here is four more of my vintage aprons and they are hung on this wood tree clothes rack--

this little corner is between my sewing/bedroom and the bathroom---the big silver thingy on the wall is one of my air machines that I have to run at all times!!!

I had this "brain storm" when I was resting late this afternoon---I took down the other curtains I had here (this "window" thingy looks into the kitchen from my dinning room)
ironed this set and ironed two more vintage aprons and pinned them to the curtains--now was that a "brilliant" idea or what??????  Unfortunately I do not have the table done yet--tomorrow--there is always tomorrow--hopefully!!!!!

SOOO I did work on getting the rest of the Christmas decorating done--oh--all three primitive trees got lights on them today and the middle one did decorated too--but still have the tallest one to do--and then some finishing here and there--and I will be done---tomorrow!!!!

YES--I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF--- I had to do alittle sewing--got the binding sewed on this one--he is all done--now----

ONLY THERE'S ONE PROBLEM--I have two more to quilt of these--both are done in different color---well--different fabric lines anyway!!!!

Got this in the mail box today!!!

I got this book (2008) book on Amazon.com for 1penny--(plus the $3.99 shipping)--she has some cute things in it--maybe next year--it is not all Christmas!!!

SOME MORE--Angels Explained by children---
What I don't get about Angels is why, when someone is in love,
They shoot arrows at them??
---Sarah, 7

I only know the names of two angels--
Hark and Harold!!
---Gregory, 5

Angels talk all the way while they're flying you up to heaven.
The main subject is where you went wrong before you got dead!!!!

---Daniel,9

Have a Great Weekend--we are very "cold" here in New York state tonight and it has been snowing!!!!
Hugs, Di
