Just a Summer Day

And what a pretty day it is--for stitching--of course --I believe any day is a good stitching day!!!
I actually did some hand quilting today--boy, do I need to do some concentrating on that end of things--tomorrow, I will have more time tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! Well, I did get some projects finished:
Here's block ! of the new BOM that I am getting in the mail--they are soo different and cute and fairly fast--the skates are buttons that come with the pattern--the pattern is called :Patch Abilities 2009 and I ordered it from the Serendipity Quilt Co. in MN. Then this one:
I got Block 7 done for the V.Views series from Willowberry Designs and then this one:
I got the emb. work done yesterday and this morning, before my friend Anne came, I got the fabrics picked out and cut for the borders--this will be a pillow and I have the back cut, I just need to sew them together and add the binding, and I actually--now don't faint on me--I actually made this with it's home already known--it will go here:
It will go on this bench on this quilt that is called "Friendship Quilt" that I did two years ago in one of Sharon's classes--it will go behind the bears--hopefully!!! I got the bird emb pattern from the MN blog hop I did for the last two weeks--guess I did not win any of the "big" prizes, but oh well, maybe next time?????
