This is my cute salt shaker that I 'retire' my pins and sewing/quilting needles in--
and--
this hand quilting needle needed to---
to be retired--
because it's job was finished this afternoon--
looky here--
We are all done--even the binding is all stitched down--
this was a '3 year' ufoPROJECT--so don't say ufo's never get done--
even though I think I finished only about '4' of mine this past year out of upteen million!!!
did you say 'next year will be a better year for finishing some 'projects in waiting'---
I sure hope you are right!!!!
Anybody got any leftover homemade cookies or fudge--
Miss Gracie says she is 'hungry'!!!!!
She says that stuffed mouse is looking 'yummier' every day!!!!!!!
Hugs, Di and that hungry kitty!!!!

That's a clever idea. I put mine in an old plastic prescription bottle, and throw it out when it's full. Yours would be much prettier on the sewing table!
I love your quilt! I received some rotary blades and needles in my stocking, so I immediately changed my blade and machine needle, and put them bot in the blade case. I like your idea for a sharps container.
Congratulations, Di, on finishing my favorite piece of yours! It must make you feel really good to have another UFO completed! I think you are going to have a lot of finishes in 2012 because of your participation in that challenge. Good luck!
Good idea to store your used needles in such a pretty container.

Congrats!!!! It is gorgeous--those tiny words are amazing. Love the salt shaker--I am going to have to upgrade from my yogurt tub with tape over the top.
Hope Miss Gracie found her fudge!!!

Lovely, Di! And I think the saltshaker is really cute.
I think ms Gracie is a good kitty for leaving your decorations alone, our Tiffi is in love with the red decorations and we have to keep a close eye on her!
What a lovely little quilt Di, I just love it.
What a pretty way to dispose of needles, I use a tiny little jam jar I got on vacation. Hummm, I will have to look around my house for something pretty, thank you for the idea.
Happy New Year to you.
Your project is gorgeous Di and your little salt shaker idea is brilliant!
DI,THAT IS THE NEATEST IDEA FOR SPENT NEEDLES I'VE SEEN! I WANT TO DO THAT TOO ♥
HAPPY NEW 2012!
Your quilt is gorgeous!! That's an amazing finish, and well worth it!!! Love your needle container idea. I need to do that too!!!
