COLD OR HOT?????
I have to say that this past week has been
fun in reading the blog posts--
First there is some that say--
Baby---it is soooo cold and windy out there--
good day to stay inside and stitch and drink coffee, tea, cocoa!!!
and then the next post says--
it is hot hot hot--way tooooo hot to stitch!!!!
and it is the same day, the same time, and same year!!!!!
So advice from "Di" is--
those who are in the "Hot zone"--
Find a way to 'chill' and enjoy yourself--
cooler weather will come your way--
and for those of us who are in the "Cold zone"--
now---
you best stitch your little hearts out now--
no 'fluffing' off for the next couple months--
stitch, stitch , stitch--
then when the Hot stuff gets here--
we can do this--
and not have an ounce of regrets!!!!!
Are you stitching yet?????
Have you looked at the Stitch along site--
it is over on the right hand site with the blog post listings??
Oh my what beautiful shoe bags and thread catchers everyone is making!!!!
I have no need for a shoe bag--but I think I got to make me one or two just the same!!!
Happy stitching on--

Hello Di. Although I live in the southern part of the United States, it has been cold, windy and rainy for the past 3 or 4 weeks. So I have definitely been staying in the house sewing. This afternoon I made some more hexes. I have enough now to make about a dozen flowers. I still haven't decided how I want my layout to be.I want to make a Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt, but I am going to use reproductions for it.Maybe I can find one on Pinterest that I like.
Today it was just right! But I stayed in and stitched, because Sunday is stitching day at my house! By the time I go to bed tonight, I will have my first finish of the year. WooHoo!
Pretty good day for doing all things. Not too hot and not too cold. Tomorrow--really I will sew tomorrow!
L,A-
Only minus 3 today, I would prefer to stay indoors, but the dogs say nay! Sometimes I envy you cat people :-)
Most of my stitches are on knitting needles, but I am getting a bit of stitchery done in between.
Hi Di - SEW glad to be back in blogland and to have found you again.
Happy Monday to you too!!!
It's nice and cool here... wouldn't say cold! But so glad it is not HOT!! xxx
I've read some of those blogs - from down under - and I don't know how anyone can do anything when the temp. is above 35C and even 40+C. I live where there is snow right now and I am quite happy.
would love a bit of your cold climate right about now........
