then later this afternoon I got more blocks done--
it seems I have 2 big groups in this color family--
so I did a strip block and bird block in each color group--
used some of my new fabric's too--the gold fish one is one that Anne sent me for Christmas--
and this pattern was meant for paper piecing--but I was able to figure it out with out using the paper pattern!!
and--
and in this one I used some more fabrics that Anne sent me at Christmas--
there is 2 on the bird and then the one with the anchors on it--
and here is the 4 of them--
so that is why this month 2 birds got created--

I love the swirly bird wing. Very cool. They all look nice together. I need to pull out my strings and do some more.
