I am busy working on a ST Patty's day door hanging--
and later I will stitch down the binding--
so will show that next time--
I did spend some time on the sewing machine sewing long strips together--
to make about 77 --9-patches--
and I discovered that I can only get 13 from the 2 strips that match
so had to cut some more strips as I would of been about 24 short--
got these ready for leaders and enders or to just sit and do some 'mindless' sewing!!!
And --
my friend Alice got me into trouble last week--
she emailed me one night and said she had just ordered some 'red' fabrics from a company--
called 1,000 bolts--and I could not let her get ahead of me --right???
so here is my order--
I know--somehow a pretty blue got in the cart!!!
oh--and all the fabrics here are one yard cuts and are $4.95 a yard--
and they are designer fabrics--soooo--
and these 4 are all in the same line--
and you know me and my roses--especially pink - red roses--
and they counted cause they there is red in those prints --
except the last one and I need more pink in the pink stash--so a win-win!!
there is more in this line and so I may have to do an order next month when I learn what the color of the month is!!!!!!!!!
and how could I resist these last 3 fat quarters on their sale page--
this print is called 'happy catz'--they make me smile!!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
I also went down to the dock today--
finally a day without heavy winds here--
been aleast 4-5 days of strong winds--
and spring is in the air here--
see my other blog post for the photos I took down on the dock!!
ENJOY THE MOMENTS, DI

Oh sure. You can always find a reason to buy pretty new fabric! The pinks are gorgeous. Do they have a sale on just a certain color every month?
Shame on me. And how did you get your order first anyway. Hopefully we can compare reds tomorrow.
And whatever other color jumped into my cart.
I don't have much to display for St. Patrick's Day. The designs I see just don't thrill me.
Ooooh, lots of pretty and fun stuff in your mail!
aw...I must find myself a feather
