BEEN HEATING UP

the sewing machine each day --
for at least a little while--
got this months green cat finished today--

and I did end up using a green print I already had--
now I fell in love  with one of the new greens that I gotten--
but when I laid them out--
I realized that with the red cat being sooo red--
with the green I had chosen--it looked like a Christmas cat parade--
soooo---
and here is the block to go with the cat--

notice the rabbit strip on the outside edge--it was perfect--
so scraps are good!!!!

And I have been working on this pile this week--

I still have to do  a 'pile' of the teal fabric half square triangles--
then I can add these to what I have already made!!!

I did get a birthday gift in the mail today-
but know that others are coming--
so will wait and do a birthday post then!!!
And--yep--I am now one year 'wiser'!!!!!!
