I AM GETTING CAUGHT UP--OR

I thought I was--
then I remembered that I did not get the hand piecing block done for the week--
not even cutting the pieces out--ouch!
and a new comes out on Monday!!!

But I did get 2 weeks worth of projects done
for Fee's weekly challenge--
This week's was making Hexagon needle holders--
In sides look like this--

2 of the outsides--
and the other 2--

The first 2--came from the same antique hand towel
was a long design on the front of it--

and the second photo --
those are from 2 different linen pieces!!

These all came from the 'rummage' pile that I had sorted out not to take back to Florida
with me--and it was fun going through my trims to add to them and the bits and pieces of
ribbons I have saved over time--
doing these in the antique linens is something that was on my 'bucket' list of projects
that I have wanted to do for along time--so thanks Fee for this pattern!!

And then I also got the weeks before Candle mats all finished--
one in blues--
and one in rust and yellows--
I loved doing the beads down the center of the butterflies--
real cute and classy addition!!!
the colors are much prettier in real life-
again the camera is not behaving!!!

In the mail I got new threads--

And I am confused --again---

here is Thursdays Inchy--
and in this photo ( and in other photos of these Inchy's )
it looks like I have left 'spaces' between the stitches and
even the top of that blue thread looks crooked--
well--it is just the camera--cause when I go to fix them-- they look fine--
(maybe I need new glasses--hummm???)

and here is Friday's Inchy --
we had a 'boil water' here for a couple days--so as soon as that was lifted yesterday
morning at 9:30--I ran to the bathroom and enjoyed a good shower--!!!

and here is where I am on the Crabapple Embroider along--
These little squares are also fun to stitch--

And my new 'work in progress' wood bowl --
being full of projects that needed stitching--
to--
Finally--
But have NO fear--
it will get filled up again on Monday or before!!!!

Ohh--did I show you these last 2 Tiny Tuesday finish's--

All stitched by hand piecing!!!!

Oh that is enough 'entertaining' for today--
Have a great rest of the week end, everyone---

SMILE AT A STRANGER THIS WEEK END--
AND MEAN IT!!
LUV, DI

You get so much done in a week. Love the sheep in your Tiny Tuesday Heart, very fun. Happy stitching this next week.

Once again Di those Hexie are too cute. The needle holders are so elegant! I don't know why your stitches look at wrong - but I believe you that they are right in person.
