Actually it is 'dirty dozen' #5---
and as of this morning the top is finished--
that had gotten cut--
so we used some of them in the border--
(still have some left!!)
and here is how it was suppose to look--
there was still alot of wool 1 1/2" blocks that I would of needed for going all around that border--
maybe some day I will learn to buy the right amount of fabric/wool before starting a project!!
This morning I did get the batting (which I did find black batting for this one and it came in
fairly quickly) and the backing cut for it--
but will probably wait until I have another top to baste before it gets basted--
I am still hand quilting on my heart quilt top--
got 3 sides done on the narrower inside border last night--
so one more side and then the outer border--
so I am not ready for another hand quilting project right now--
and I also have another quilt project already basted!!!
I have to clean off the one folding table (where I cut and press)
to do any basting--
so want to wait until I can do baste at least 2 projects
-- this is my story and I am sticking to it!!!
I also checked on my 'blues' for this months color with Angie--
and I did pretty much use light blues earlier in the year when we did blues
and I had gotten a nice collection of dark blues since--so did get alot of them
ready to make 9 patches, star blocks and 3 lady blocks
now to decide what to work on this afternoon--
my clipboard has at least 4 projects on it--
and that doesn't count the 'blues'--
that I am behind in so far this week--
hummmmm?????? which ones will it be????

Yep, loving those pink hearts! i have to clear a table to baste, too, so always wait until I have 2 or 3 to make it worthwhile. I hope to get back to stitching soon.
