are floating around in my head--
but I have had a hard time concentrating on which ones to work on--
but have decided on a couple of them --so here goes--
First up is the dirty dozen from the Chicken Threads site--
this months number is #11-- well --this one threw me for a 'loop' as they say!!! Cause I have been working on getting fabrics and backings for a lot of the quilts on that list--but hadn't even thought of what to do with the blocks listed as #11--
the dresses I designed as applique a couple years ago--OUCH--what ever am I going to do to finish them into a top?????????????????
So this is Goal #1--to get these into a finished flimsy and batting and backing and basted!
Goal #2 I am already working on--
to finish hand quilting this small Christmas piece and to add the binding to it!!
In other goals for the month-
1. Want to get last months Snowflake quilt flimsy with batting/ backing and then baste it for hand quilting
2. to finish the flimsy for Jolly Bar Stitch along
3. to do my blocks and Ladies for this month's color--of red
I am still doing these--
and I think this is where all my 'thread' is going!! Making all these little corner squares--these are just 1 1/2" squares--so tiny --but cute--this set is from this quilt--
Oh--this should be #4 on my to do list--to get the batting and backing on it and it basted!!
And another knitted baby sweater is finished--
I think my 'job' this week end should be to get the button boxes out and sew buttons on baby sweaters--I counted them I have '15' that are done, except buttons--then get them in the mail!!!
So what are your goals for September????
BEE OF GOOD CHEER AND BEE THANKFUL-
LUV, DI
and--just because--
