It is Christmas Eve Day--so we are getting closer to being able to --
unwrap gifts --
instead of wrapping them!!!
I was busy this morning--
and got these '2' kinds baked--
the white ones are the Russian tea cakes--but this year--I only made a half batch--
and I added peppermint extract to the dough and one crushed candy cane--and they are --
Yummy--just a nice pleasant minty taste--
the other ones are called Cookie Candies and still need the melted chocolate chips spread on top of them and then the sprinkles added!! this recipe is my favorite Christmas one and comes from this cookie book--
Ahh--yes I think I need a new one--this one is 50 some years old and has done alot of moving in those 50 some years!!!! Poor book!!
And I finished a new wall hanging yesterday--
by adding the binding to it--
