I gathered up all the ingredients
and lined them up on the counter--
(course I won't tell you that around 3am I woke up and wondered if I had any cloves--so actually got out of bed and checked the cupboard and went back to bed a happy camperbaker knowing that I did have some!!!!
Then--I set to work and now have this--
under 'wraps' in the refrigerator --chilling--!!!
I can't wait to smell them baking!!!!
I believe it is hard this year to 'Believe in the Magic of Christmas'--
I see some of you are not putting up trees or decorating much and
then I see some of you are going way out and doing a ton of decorating--
and some of us--are doing about what we normally do!!!
I am struggling a bit--but determined to keep a happy spirit going--
somehow!!! We will get through this--together!!! right????

Oh, I know you are baking and everything smells SO good! I am baking brownies for my hubby today so my house will smell like chocolate...dark chocolate! Enjoy your week! I'm going to try to sparkle! teehee! holiday hugs!
Ditto! Oh my that is so funny! We finally got the outside lights up this weekend so the house is as it normally is for decorations. I'll bet your house is smelling yummy right now. Quilty hugs to you. Don't forget to look for the star again tonight.
I bet those gingerbread boys/girls and the cookies smelt good when cooking....
Yes no big tree here this year and just a few Chrissy things around... only hubby and I so no littles ....
I love the smell of baking gingerbread cokies :) i dont make them know the kids have left home, but I have made some other Christmas goodies.
Thankfully we can have our closest family here for Christmas. So things are more or less normal. We must keep our spirits (and weight !) up. :))
