AND I LAUGHED----

Yesterday morning I finished pressing the items I wanted to photography for my Sunday Blog post--and then downloaded my photos to the computer and got them edited --then I cooked me a nice lunch--ate lunch while reading on the computer--(that's why it's hard sometimes for me to answer comments or to comment on a blog site--I'm eating lunch or dinner while on the computer!!!)

Late afternoon while I was stitching and watching the race--a thought occurred to me and all I could do was laugh---I had completely forgotten to do write the blog post--so I am sorry--but here it is today!! Enjoy!

I got these 4 Christmas designs from Melisa stitched--

along with these 2--and now I do have some of the Candy Cane in upper right hand corner stitched--
these are my main Christmas in July projects--and no--I am not sure just what I am going to do with them yet-whether they will be for me to decorate with or will I turn  them into gifts--hummm?????
And I think we will get one more set of 4 to do ---

I guess my 'big' Christmas in July project is my new heart applique project--

Why do I love to applique hearts???  also there is the adventure of looking for more fabrics that will make neat heart cut outs--ordered a couple Christmas fabrics on line this week end--fun!!!

And I spent time this past week  working on my Country block quilt from Farmhouse-

I was busy picking out and cutting out the squares for the 9-patches for this quilt--want to get the ones we have gotten so far all sewed together before she starts giving us new blocks --probably next Sunday so I still do have the rest of this week to finish it--hopefully!!

And Friday we got our 'heart' of the week pattern and here is mine--

I still need  a little bow at the center of the big heart background--this one was a fun one to do--

And here is where I am so far on my Counted cross stitch project--

And yesterday I did an order to 123Stitch company for 2 new patterns and the cloth to do them along with a couple buttons, of cats and hearts--plus a couple ladybugs for this cross stitch--so will have something to look for ward to in the mail!!!

And I am amazed that my Impatient plant is still alive and just one bloom after another--
Looking at it just makes me smile--
and that Thyme plant--well--all I can say is it's still alive as well--but sure is slow growing from the seeds-

It might actually be a big  plant some day!!!????

And just another photo of a couple of my plants--!!

We have had almost daily thunder-storms--and a couple have produced some beautiful rainbows afterwards-

This one was a big one-so here is the center part--the right and left ends of it-

And this one was a couple days later-just part of one and much lower!!!

Well--I need to go put things away that I bought at Walmart this morning--we have a  free small Van service here on Monday mornings--one week it goes to a Super Walmart and the next week it goes to Aldi's-but I go next door first to JoAnn's and look around!!

HAPPY STITCHING THIS WEEK--OH AND IF YOU STARTED A CHRISTMAS IN JULY AND IT'S NOT FINISHED--GUESS WHAT YOUR GOAL THIS WEEK IS--FINISH IT!!!
HUGS, DI
