I WONDER--IF THE WEATHER READS--

the newspaper or listens to the TV station to see what they, say it will do--and then 'LAUGHS'????

It is summertime in Florida and we have heat and humidity in Florida in the summer time--but I hear we are also setting heat records this year--all I can say is--the 'weather' is in charge here--not the weather men--now this heat does something to my body (as well as the cold) actually it is more the air-conditioning--I have to keep turning it on and off--cause this is how my body feels today--

 I ache in places today--I did not even know I had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I do keep myself busy--at least I try--

I got this months Heart block done in Yellow--

When I was growing up we had a black/brown collie-German shepherd named Rex (he looked like a collie-except his long nose!!) and so I thought of Rex the whole time I appliqued this dog!  He was a great dog and he died in my Senior year of high school

And here is where I am on the wool Mr. Jack mystery blocks--

 I still need to do button eyes, mouths, stems and leaves and stars and finish the black cat--I added the black cat--he is talking to the owl in the mystery story--so thought he would be cute here too!!

And I got another set of the Christmas embroidery's done from Melisa--

I have started on the 3rd set and will work on that set this afternoon while I watch the NASCAR race--and she has given a 4th set to do--and I need to get them traced off!!

I got some new Christmas prints in for my Christmas hearts and did get some more appliqued-but me forgot to take a photo--opps!!

and here is a second group of Christmas prints I got in this week--this set I ordered from a new to me company online--that I actually seen on Facebook--I don't order from Facebook ads, unless I know the company already--but for whatever reason this one seemed to have great reviews and you can order 1/4 yard cuts --which is great for me and most companies now you have to order at least 1/2 yd cuts--so I took a chance--and I love all the fabrics I got and I ordered on a Tuesday and had my order by Saturday--WOW!!
