I am starting too many 'new' projects--think I need a 12 step program here!!!! I mean I am retired--and tired--old and creaky--brain fog one minute and brain over drive the next---
So lets see where I am now--
I got the first block of the Polka dot girls all embroidered and have alot done on the second block so on Sunday afternoon I traced off the 3rd block--And here is a few--fussy cut ones--
Think I did 41 this month with purple--oh see the dragonfly's on the bottom--the darker one is the right side of the fabric and the lighter one is the back--!!!???
I worked on the first of 2 baby quilts I am doing--
I have the fabric for a border ready and the binding fabric--This block was a quilt block--only--I did one of her earlier ones--the one with the strawberry as a remembrance to my Grandmother--who loved to go wild strawberry picking with us when I was growing up!!
and here is this months--tiny house--
Again--a change in plans--needed to do a pink house as May is my birthday month and pink is my very favorite color--and I have a problem with tomatoes--so I kept mine all about sewing things and I just loved loved the tiny lamb we did a couple months ago on one--so added one here--I just love making these tiny houses--thanks Melisa--And now to a Rabbit hole---I found these on the Stoney Creek site as their special pattern for the month of May--each pattern was only $1.50--so $6.00 for the set--I had been kinda looking for a bird pattern--and I have--well--sorta-- have the chickadee and the cardinal (more was done on the cardinal since the photo earlier today--there is one problem I have discovered--they are all sitting on pine greens--and well it does say--ornaments--only I want mine to be year around--so--for now am leaving off the greens till I decide--may come up with nests under them --instead--?????
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
And of course we have to talk Nascar--
and death of Kyle Busch--totally unbelievable--can't say he was my favorite driver--but when I first started watching Nascar in 2010--I had '3' blog friends and the housekeeper at the senior apartments in NY who were huge--huge Kyle fans--Melinda would even bring her big cardboard display cutout of Kyle and set it up in the second floor hall way every time he won and hand out M&M's to all of us--and back then he won alot--so I was always happy for them--I was probably more of Dale Jr fan back then--actually--I would see who the top 4-5 were at the end and then pick who I wanted to win that race--it would drive my friends crazy cause I didn't have one favorite guy!!!!!!!! I am heart broken for his family and so so many of his teammates and fans--
SO ONCE AGAIN WE SAY--HUGS THOSE AROUND YOU AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THEM--
HUGS TO ALL, DI

Goodness, you are a busy bee! Such fun projects you have in the works. Love the birds and the idea of putting them in a nest is great. Enjoy your week, looks like a rainy weekend on tap for us.
There are always squirrels to follow and rabbit holes to jump down! Ask me how I know, lol! Love seeing what you're working on, Di. Those tiny embroidered hexagons really caught my eye - they're so sweet. That is a great baby quilt, too. Happy stitching!
Oh wow, Di! You have so many beautiful projects in the works. You are so amazing. You certainly keep me inspired and motivated. The bird stitches are adorable. I look forward to seeing your progress on those. And I adore your Tiny House, embroideries and stitching. I cannot thank you enough for stitching along with me. It is always such a joy to visit you. You have me motivated for some evening stitching. Hugs
Oh Di your embroideries are simply beautiful!! I love the little Bunny Roundabout from Melisa--and the Polka Dot Ladies are gorgeous...
You have so many lovely projects in the works...what a fun read your blog is every week--thanks for sharing hugs, Julierose
So many fun projects in the works. You'll certainly never get bored. Your pink house is adorable! Kyle Busch's death was very sad, he was a very talented driver and he certainly kept the drama high. He wasn't one of my favorite drivers, but it's very sad for his family and the sport.
