I am here--
though I have not written to you in a couple days--
what can I say--
I did worked on an 'older' project that has been in the --
time out box!!
I know this is been in time out for a couple years--
but got it out and was using it as leader and enders while working on last weeks projects--
all the 4 patches are now ready to be sewed together to make the 4 patch--
whenever I can seem to find time to get back into the sewing room!!!!
This project--
is giving me 'nightmares' or was--
that snowflake has been restitched in parts so many times that it is not even funny anymore!!!!
sure hope that next months doesn't have a snowflake!!!
just a bit more to do on the 'scene' and then the fancy border!!!!
and Sunday--I worked on a 'timeout' knitted shawl and that was enjoyable!!!
and Yesterday I had to go to Sears and return something and then to that larger Walmart to get my glasses fixed--
and we even went into Joanns and I did not--
now are you 'listening' did not buy even one item--
I talked myself out of everything that 'tempted' me--
I don't usually listen to myself!!!!
and today was my Anne's day--
we quilted for awhile and then took her '96'year old mother out to lunch--
I had a fish sandwich and was good and did not eat the bun--
welll--the whole truth and nothing but the truth--
I did have some chocolate cheese cake for for--
my dairy allotment for lunch????????????
and we could say that the mini chocolate chips on the top was my veggies????????
I was in the bedroom and had the camera with me--
and looked up and seen my little cabinet--
so took a picture of the two shelves to share tonight--
I think the mice are trying to pretend they are geese and are just waiting for the scones to go with the tea!!!!
So what is next--
St. Patty's day--
or on to Easter/Spring??????
Hugs, Di and miss gracie

As you know my niece does my cross stitching..would drive me bonkers! Lovely tea cup collection. Sounds like a fun day out. I am not making anything new for St Pats . Will put out a few runners. Easter we have folks in so use spring flowers and a few bunnies, here and ...hare! hahaha! I know so lame!
Hi Di. I was worried that you might not be feeling well so I am happy to know that you are okay.
I am glad you had a great time out. But really- you went to JoAnns and didn't buy a thing? WOW! That is some willpower!
I love the fabric at the top of your blog. Blue and yellow is a favorite combination as well as pink and green for me. I can't wait to see what you are making.
Well, I am going now. The sun is out for the first time in a while so I am going in the sewing room. Hope you have a great day!
Like the 4 patch blocks. Looks like something fun to play with. Like I need something else fun to play with. Glad you knocked out that snowflake cause it is all going to be very cute. Gorgeous tea cups, they do look ready for that plate of scones.
Not much time between St. Patty's and Easter this year. It is like Mr. Time is going out of his way to make me crazy this year.
L,A-
Your cross stitch looks like it is on quite fine cloth - no wonder it is being fiddly - but really, that snowflake looks great from here!! A lovely design. Amazing going into Joanns and coming out empty handed - I've read about your exploits in shops before so I am astounded!! Have fun with the leader-ender projects - pretty fabric!
I take my hat off to you for your cross stitch projects!! You must have a lot of patience - I always love the results, but rarely get to do any myself. Have a great weekend!!
LOL! chocolate is made from coco BEANS! Beans are veggies, so you're good. Your projects are lovely!
