LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Or at least it seems like it this week--

and my first 'love' is some finishes--
the center of a 'bom' is finally all stitched--

this is for the Buttermilk Basin--bom--
the next block comes out tomorrow--
there was alot of stitching on this one--
but really like how it came out--
the words and such are done in wool--

and a counted cross stitching piece is all stitched--

have had this  pattern for a long time--
feels good to see it all stitched up--
now to decide how to frame it?

and this morning before lunch I was able to get this little
baby quilt top stitched--

This is the rest of the charm pack from making the little quilt top last week--
and is a from the line called--"Darling little Dickens"--
I did add the darker salmon blocks with the bee's to the top wanted a bit more color--
now to decide on borders for it???

and talking about Love--
tomorrow is officially Valentine's Day--
but we celebrated today in the lunch room--
and they even had music for us--while we ate--

This couple played all kinds of instruments and sang to us--
they were really good and had great voices--

The dinning room has been decorated since yesterday-
and today we even had these on the tables--

Real live roses--oh they are so pretty!!
and they have cooked out for the last 2 days on a big grill--
which they do do, now and then--but this week they had to grill--
as the kitchen is getting new flooring--!!
always something going on around here --

Well--get your red and pink on for tomorrow--
