and was mentioning the OMG challenge and what it meant-
One Monthly Goal--
and I sorted had to laugh--
cause last month I had '2' goals for that challenge
and this month I have '3'--I think--!!!!!
My first goal and 'big main goal' was to finish this quilt--
And thanks to our stay at home time--I did get it done--
believe me there was lots and lots of hand quilting done on this piece!
This is about 3 years old as for making the top--
it was a monthly one here on line--
and was a paper piecing one
I made my own little bumble bee stencil for adding to the one outside white border and
to have a couple in each of the vase blocks--I did the bee and their flying line in black thread-
and I used colored threads on each teapot, cup and saucer and vases--and used white thread on all the rest of the quilting lines--
*** after much research of going through old blog post--
I found it--it is called Christines Kitchen and we did them in May 2017!!
this now hangs on a wall in the kitchen, so I get to enjoy it every day!!
My second challenge for me was to finish my Easter/Spring wall hanging that I designed-
This one is now all finished--
and it did alot of talking--when it wanted to--
some days it just had to stay in 'time out' cause it wouldn't tell me
what it wanted next--and we still have one problem--
the Bunny ear--
he can't decide which way he wants it to 'flop'
straight down--
to the left--
or--
to the right???????????????
He has till next Spring to decide--right????
So now I am ready to work on my challenge for May--
that is besides continuing to be 'stay at home' (and sew all day)--
and wearing a mask everytime I leave the apartment--
oh and don't forget the hand washing routine!!
Do you have your OMG project figured out for May???
SENDING A HUG AND A PRAYER TO EVERYONE--
LUV, DI

Well you've obviously been putting your quarantine time to good use! I was looking at my little Home Sweet Home pattern earlier - the cat on top of the pile of quilts - and I was thinking about you. Hope you're doing well.
Lovely finish Di ..
The bunny is sew cute with is floppy ear...I'm sure he'll decide how he wants till by next spring...
Very nice. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
Both of those projects are super cute! If you're taking votes, I like the rabbit's ear to be nearly straight down. If you're not taking votes, just forget what I said. Ha!
