SATURDAY BLUES!

Well--
this month's color--for April was Blue-
light to medium blues--
I kinda only had a couple--
so did go shopping on line--
and luckily a few came in on time--
(the one order I wanted the most--hasn't even been processed to ship yet!!)

So up first is the 4-9 patch blocks I do each month--

these are  always so much fun to make--and I love the black centers--
next up was the star blocks--4 again--

now 2 of these stars decided they wanted to 'pick' on me this morning--
and made sure one row of points went in the wrong direction!!!
out came that faithful friend--the seam ripper!!

then it was on to the 'sister's block--
and someone cut one piece of their headdress  wrong--
wonder who that was???

so here is those '3' sisters--
(wonder why Di is doing '4' of each of the other blue blocks--but only 3 of the sister blocks--
hummm--I will have to ask her when I see her next time???)

So it took all month to get to my 'blue' sewing--
but it got done--even if it is the last Saturday of the month--!!!

my next color for April was purple--
again--no real purple in my stash--
a couple pieces did come in-
so had to use them--

and here is the first 4 months of this project--

some pretty wild colors here--all of these colors for the bird she also chooses each month--
so it's an interesting stitch along!!

And I got the Aqua block done in the hand piecing project--
Cathy done yesterday--

and this one stitched right along and behaved well!!!

I only have one more project to finish that was on the list for this month--
and will be putting the binding on that one this afternoon--
then I will still have '5' full days to the end of the month--
oh whatever will I work on???????? :-)

Are you getting your Hairdresser posts ready--
Oh maybe I should give you more time--lets make it for the last day of April--
this coming Thursday to  publish the post--yep--we will do it all on April 30 th-
hope I don't confuse you--too much--surely there is some good stories out there!!!
