Thought I would do my Sunday post tonight--as I do have some plans for tomorrow--and a post will be done--
I did get some sewing done this week--
got my '4' Southern ladies sewn--
I now have '4' black fabrics picked out for the last of this series--if there is enough yarn left over from the sweater, I plan to knit the hat for it, before going on to making another sweater--and --yes---there is another sweater on the needles!!!!
And this morning I worked on doing the next step on the Word Plays for displaying them--
This is the main display board for them--I glued on 2 of the magnetic strips
Then I got the background
piece glued to it's board--this is the background for October's--It is hard to see here--
but there is a design in the black fabric--it has magnetic strip on each side--
And--
look at this--it's already to be hung up and enjoyed!! The only problem is--
I haven't any idea where to hang it???????? Guess I will have to work on that problem tomorrow!!
I had wanted a different background for this months--but couldn't seem to find what I wanted in fabric--and so that is one reason I am doing the fabric boards separate this time--I can change them any time I want or use this black one for any month I want to use it behind!!
I also got November's finished--but you will have to wait to see that one--and I got the cardboard cut for December's but haven't decided on the fabric for it yet---I think I still have some time before that one needs to be ready for display!!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO OUR CANADA FRIENDS!
SO LET'S ALL THINK ON THINGS TO BE THANKFUL THIS WEEK END!
I AM THANKFUL FOR MY BLOG AND OTHER FREINDS ALL AROUND THE WORLD!
LUV, DI

Great idea for the display boards...
Those ladies are adorable. Great job prepping your stitchery for hanging. I wonder where it will end up?
