SLOWER---

It has felt good this week to have slowed down time-

not that I have not been busy--

just 'no' pressure to get anything and everything done--

This morning I did stitch these--

One is for me and the other '3' are for friends!!  This fabric is so cute--and the only Fall/Halloween fabric I found the other day--and who doesn't like candy corn and cupcakes and pies along with the other Halloween characters that are on these!!!

On Sunday I got another embroidery finished--

so now I have '3' of them stitched--

and there is more to do in this series!!!

And a couple of you asked me what the 'line' of fabric was that, that I showed you in the last post--

A couple months ago when I went to the Quilts and Lace shop I had picked up these smaller prints--on the right hand side of the photo--

so when I went the other day--I got some larger scale prints--I did not even look to see 'whose' they were--so imagine my surprise when I learned they are Tilda fabrics!!!!   I believe my GF and I will be back in the area of this shop on Friday and I am going back there for a couple more of the larger prints--and I think I have a quilt planned with these, now!!!!!

I have done a few things around the apartment in the last couple days that have needed doing--one was repotting my 'ivy' on the window sill--and when I did--I discovered the whole pot was just roots--no dirt left at all--I did separate it into 2 plants so I could keep one smaller one in a small pot on the window sill!!    And today I carted a load of donation stuff to Molly Mutts thrift store--the cart was heavy and it's a good thing it was only about 3 blocks I had to go or I wouldn't of made it--that 'load' has been in storage waiting for 5 months for me to get brave enough to take it down there--must say the store only had a couple customers in it--so it wasn't bad--did make one trip around the store--but I was too hot and tired to really 'see' anything--so did come home empty handed!!!!

I've gotten some phone calls made to check up on some and did some emails to some I'd not heard from in awhile and am happy to say that everyone says they are well--so that has been good news!!

BE SURE TO TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF-

Very fun masks! It's sad we still need them, but at least we can have fun with the fabrics we use. Sounds like you got lots of fall clean up done too. Hopefully you can enjoy the rest of the week and just coast to the weekend.

It's nice to see others wearing their Halloween fabric masks around here. Sweet of you made some for your friends too.
