BACK TO THE PROGRAM

I was finally able to get back --to my regular 'program' of sewing in the mornings--

and this was Tuesday's project--

Oh--I know it was not listed on this months --to do list!!!

But--I had forgotten I had it, and was looking for some Christmas fabric for another project--

when I found it so got it out and played with it on Sunday--and then on Monday I just had to sew the borders on it--and after lunch I reset up the cutting table and got it all basted--and now I am happily hand quilting on it each afternoon/evening!!

So this one got refolded and put back on the shelf--

And then this morning some blocks that I had kitted up a 'bit' ago--

got put into a top--

Now I did have another print for a border to go around this one all cut in strips--

but this quilt 'yelled' at me--to keep it just like this--so who am I to argue with a quilt????

So I am trying to stay busy--this Christmas is so different here, from last Christmas--

that it is 'sad' and depressing--but thankfully --my stitching and blog post friends keep me smiling--

so please be careful and we need to keep Christmas in our hearts--just the same.

KEEP SMILING--AND DON'T FORGET THE POST PERSON AND THE DELIVERY FOLKS

LUV AND HUGS, DI

The cat funnies are very cute! And I love the winter fabric for the holidays. I sure missed going to craft fairs this Fall and getting something new. And now we are getting a little bit of colder weather this year aren't we? Snuggle up in a quilt! holiday hugs!

Sometimes we need to listen to the quilts and pay attention to the ones screaming to be worked on! Stay safe. Too funny on the ornament before it dies.... so true!

Cosy quilts, Di. I love the kitties - reminds me of when we had a cat :)
Keep warm and stay safe.
