AND--lots of hopes, dreams, and plans!!
So on this first day of a new year--what are we doing???
So far I have sewn--
this is one of the blocks to Jenny's bom for 2021--and I decided how to finish mine off--and here one block done--so far--just so I could say that I 'stitched on the machine' this first day of 2022!!
worked on my little church counted cross stitching this morning--
I spent the afternoon working on a food order--unfortunately this new version of Covid really is spreading fast--so it is back to online ordering for me--as my son is now sick with covid--his 2nd time, he got it when it was first here 2 years ago , nearly--
and then I spent the afternoon on the computer doing my one journal post that is mostly just photos of all the projects I do each month--someone had not updated that blog site since April--ouch!!!!
I am fixing my supper now--rice, salmon, and blackeyed peas--then I will be working on these projects the rest of the evening--
hand quilting on this one--
some embroidery on this snowman--
some knitting on a new pair of socks--
and I found my applique project for this year--
one with birds on it--oh yummy!!!
I have also spent the last 3 days sewing on these--
4 placemats and 2 bowl cozies--(my first bowl cozies!!)

Love that flamingo fabric! Hope your son recovers quickly. Yes, it is spreading like wildfire but hopefully that will mean this surge is over faster? I had my mask on at Lowes today. Still lots not wearing them where I am, unfortunately. Stay safe and happy stitching.
