It's been a busy week--for some reason!!
Tuesday the phone rang and it was my friend Carolyn and she wanted to have a 'play day'--so she picked me up at 11 am and off we went--first we went to Big Lots near me here--and I learned some about them--not been a Big Lots shopper before as I was never near any-but this one is in the same plaza as the Publix market I go to on the bus--so I am sure I will be shopping there more often-- Then we went to a Thrift store--and there I purchased these two items--
a bunny mug for 99cents--
and I got a small bundle of plastic hangers as I needed a couple more (for some reason I had broken two of my hangers lately!!) and when I turned the bundle around I found this on the back side--
We stopped for lunch at Mc Donald's--and this is our order--one sweet tea with no ice and fries for Carolyn and one unsweet tea with lots of ice and a fish sandwich for me!!!
Then we drove over the causeway, over the river, to beach side and went to a Thrift store there we like and I got 2 T-shirts and this basket--
I have owned alot of baskets in my day--but never an egg basket--this is old and in really good shape and I only paid $5 for it--spent $11 total--
and then on to a park along the beach and we got out and stood on a boardwalk and enjoyed the salt breeze and watched the waves--a perfect weather day for the beach--wonderful!!!
And here is where I am on the daily birdhouse sampler from Crabapple Hill-
I am also on the border now of my flower basket quilt--so am keeping busy!!!
and the this week the weather here has been beautiful--so am back to going outside twice a day!!
