IS THE SPRING CLEANING DONE YET???

Well--not quite--am down to the kitchen and bathroom--so 2 more days worth with also grocery shopping and laundry mixed in!!!  Got to get it done--my daughter is due on Wed for a 8 day visit--sooo???  those fairies better get home and help me--lol!!!

I did get some stitching done though this week--

First up--I finished the Orchid quilt last night--

Yea--this was a long term project that at times went in-'time out' mainly cause  other projects seem to pop up and want all my attention--this was done over a 10 year span--at least--it now is hanging on my living room wall--

And I got this month's monthly embroidery finished--

and here is the first 4 months all done--

And I got last Fridays Heart block and this Fridays heart done--

I am really enjoying these blocks each week---

and I did get the borders on the churn dash quilt finished--

this quilt was 'born' when I fussy cut those 2 corner rose blocks!!!!

and I finished the 9 block outlines for the new counted cross stitch "sal" by Melissa

and the first block is in--(we were given the 6th block on Friday--so I am a bit behind on this one--but I will get there--hopefully!!!

And then on Friday--Joy gave us the first part of her Spring sal done in Embroidery to start--
not sure yet if I like the gold-yellow borders--time will tell????

And yes I did get a couple more tulip blocks appliqued--

Today I did get the new truck embroidery project all colored in--but forgot to take a photo--

And this past week I ate out in '2' new to me restaurants--Steak n Shake on Friday--nice 50's decor--and today at a diner here near by and the way back from going to Penny's!!

WELL THAT'S IT FOR ANOTHER WEEK--WONDER WHAT ADVENTURES THE DAUGHTER AND I WILL GET INTO WHEN SHE GETS HERE--DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVENTURES PLANNED THIS WEEK--????
HUGS, DI

We have a Steak and Shake in Fort Worth and your post reminded me how much my mother loved it when I would take her there!

How wonderful to have your daughter coming to visit. I hope the weather is nice. We will hopefully hike around here but stay close to home. Enjoy your evening and your sewing. Hugs, Diane

Congrats on finishing up the Orchid quilt! It always feels so good to finish up a long term project. Your heart blocks are so pretty, I really like that butterfly one. Happy stitching this week. You certainly got a lot done last week.
