ROLLIN RIGHT ALONG--MOSTLY!!!

I did get October's stitch done in the 'pink and greens'--found one green Cosmo's thread that almost looks black for my cat!!!

One day this week --I laid out this years 'color of month' blocks to see what color block I wanted to do and decided--as I had '9' of them--if I did any more I would need '3' more--but--I kinda liked the 9 I had done--so after lunch that day--I sewed the flimsy all together with just the 9 blocks-

I just need to find an outer border for this one--just haven't had the time to look at my stash yet??

I did get an order in this week, from Mending Hearts--more Christmas plaids and this really cute line--first I got the Panel --

I just love this--this will be done for a charity--
and cause I loved this panel so much--I bought some of the other pieces to this line--

these will probably be a second quilt???

and Mending Hearts sent me a little bag with some 'extra' goodies in it--

Thank you --Mending Hearts, and for how fast my orders get to me!!

Now--I know you are not going to believe this one--
but--
I had to redo part of the Country Quilt top--

This is how it looked before I got my hands on a seam ripper---

And this is how it looks now!!!
Can you see what I did???
I just could not have that rolling pin going up and down--it needed to be flat, it was driving me nuts every time I looked at it--( and I am already nutty enough!!!)--So down it came and I put the long candle in it's place and redid the that bottom row--

And now I am busy getting ready the last two rows for this quilt--and here is '2' blocks I also redid--
I redid this block--the original one I did was just a 'wee' bit too small--so out came that seam ripper again-- and I took it all apart-and made the seam allowances a bit smaller--I made this quilt hand piecing it--had gotten to a point where I really needed to press it and recut the last 4 strips--then over night I had a brain storm and decided to make it on a clothes line--so here it is!!!!

And I redid the pie bird block--

I wanted to do the yellow beak on mine--and had seen someone put an apple pie on the block with their pie bird--and I needed to leave out one block with the redo--so instead of one block with the pie bird and one block with a big pumpkin on it--I put the pumpkin on the same block as the pie bird--for--Pumpkin Pie!!!

I have just 2 more blocks to do now for this quilt that are applique--one -- I am redoing is the house block and then the last block yet to do--will be a Christmas block--so stay tuned for those--

I am going to miss this stitch along--thank you Julie for all these lovely blocks and ideas for us to personalized some of them!!

And I did get the 'new' shelves decorated for Fall--

And some work got done on the Counted cross stitching--

Plus here is some photos of the Sunbonnet Sues I am doing in the Christmas plaids--

I had done a couple like this--but kept thinking something wasn't quite right--
Then did this one--
And after studying the Sue--I decided my bonnet was at the wrong angle so did this one different angle and also the arm--I like this one better--so will be re-doing the bonnets on the first two--oh --NO--that means that darn seam ripper will be used again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was also more hand quilting done on the bird quilt and one more large baby sweater was finished with another one started--this week I think that button box should be opened and buttons sewn on all the baby sweaters and them boxed up and shipped out--

As for personnel 'issues'-this week it was my 'cell phone'-- but all is good now--and will tell you more on this next week or so--I do feel a bit ashamed of being so upset the last two weeks with things--with all the hurt in the world--so I am sorry!

HAVE YOU GOTTEN ALL YOUR CANDY READY YET FOR THE BIG DAY NEXT WEEK???
HUGS, DI

I love all chocolate but Walmart has 'bake believe' that you use to make chocolate chip cookies. It's sugar free and I love it SO much! Love your Sunbonnet Sue and the cute pie bird. I bought a black pie bird a long time ago. I ordered it...but it wasn't black when I got it! lol I love it anyway! Happy Sunday!

Di you always have the cutest projects going on. Thank you so much for stitching along with me on the monthly embroideries. It has been a joy to see your gorgeous blocks. Your new shelf is filled with fall cuteness. And oh my the otter fabric- how cute!!!! Hmmm though I love all chocolates- dark is my favorite. Happy Sunday; enjoy your day.

Definitely dark chocolate for me;)))
Your projects are so adorable, Di; I especially love the bird with the yellow beak one. And the country piece is amazing--such small appliqueing--great job...hugs on a cool, windy morning Julierose

Oh boy you sure did a lot of ripping and redoing this post. Phew!
I spent ages to find the difference in the quilt and found what you changed and then I scrolled down only to see you answered it.
Sun Bonnet Sue looked fine to me. I think you’re very particular.
