OH DEAR I MISSED A SUNDAY--

as far as doing a blog post last Sunday--all I can say is-- it is all NASCAR and the weather's fault--!!!!!

So time for some catching  up--Have been busy on some stitching projects and on some crafty projects--I was having some problem with 'energy and motivation" issues--I would have a couple days of energy then a couple days of 'no' energy at all--so I got to thinking about it--I love to blame things on the weather--but decided I can't blame everything on the weather--in thinking about 'why' the days are different--I realized that some days I turned on the diffuser machine with my Peppermint oil in and 'not on' some day--so I played around with it--and I really don't why--only that it seems to work for me--if I run the diffuser for a couple hours each day--I have lots of energy the next!!!!??????

Am still working every day on the  my Crabapple embroidery project for the month of February--

Got the 2nd block done--

And am working on the 3rd one--

I was thinking this one was almost finished--when I seen all the lines for a fancy doily under it--??
opps!!!!

And I got '2' of last years Heart blocks by Melisa finished into small hangings--

Need to get March's out and get working on that one--now!!
So I did some machine sewing on these and some hand quilting on them--

And I have been working on Challenge #10 for the Chookshed challenge this month--
I got all 20 back blocks cut from some wool --and yesterday I got 10 of them stitched with some pretty thread--I had also planned to cut around each one with the pinking shears--but--my wrist gave out--and has flared up a bit again--so need to work on something else for a couple days--I may have to see if my friend can do the cutting with the pinking shears--mine are stiff and there is 2 layers of felt here--so we will see how this week goes????

As for Counted cross stitching--here is where I am so far on the Winter project by Melisa--

But I have put this one in 'time out' for a bit--so I can stitch this one up--

I have done her other '2' with lambs and shamrocks on them and have them out on display right now--so want to get this one done to add to them--the fabric is a light green and 28 ct linen--this piece is a leftover piece of the linen I used for the other 2!!

And for Crafting--
I made this center piece for the little hall space by our back elevator--
I had gotten the St Patty's day hat and was trying to figure out to display it --when Mr. Bear said he would hold it up for display--what a 'good bear'!!!!

Then this week I also got these '4' hats designed--

You will have to wait till next week to see what I am going to do with them????

I did play in the dirt yesterday--
I got 3 flowering plants--and of course this time of the year you know what one of them was--A deep purple pansy!!!  and a new houseplant--so yesterday in my tiny kitchen--I mixed up some potting soil and replanted them into nice new pots--and I got the '2' new Christmas Cacti prepotted--along with my '2' snake plants--I was so surprised at how much the snake plants had grown and all the new growth on them--hope I didn't upset them now with transplanting them!!!

We are having a 'cool' week here in Florida--or it sure seems very coold to us--and we will have low temps all week--but---!!!!!

KEEP THE FAITH--SPRING IS ON IT'S WAY--A RABBIT STOPPED BY THE OTHER DAY AND SAID SO--SO--LETS JUST THINK SPRING AND SPRING PROJECTS--FOR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE TO CELEBRATE -- WHEN IT DOES SHOW UP!!!!
HAVE SOME FUN THINKING OF A NEW PROJECT OR EVENT TO ENJOY THIS YEAR!!
IN THE MEANTIME--I SEND YOU HUGS, DI

You are staying super busy Di. Your Crabapple Tree embroidery is gorgeous and love your little heart wall hangings. Thank you again for stitching them. I am so excited to see your Clover Basket. I hope you enjoy each stitch. My special project for the week is my butterfly quilt. I hope to finish it soon. Enjoy your day. Hugs.
