GOT ME SOME FINISHES---

I spent a couple days this week--just doing some total finishes--mostly on Counted Cross stitching projects--

First up--is this month's Tiny House monthly Cross Stitch from Melisa--

I changed the color of mine--Melisa used a clay color--I believe--but I was in a Spring/Easter mode--so I did purple and lavenders--Thank you Melisa--I love my Easter tiny home!! and she has joined the January, February, and March, on my lighted tree!!

While I was waiting on cloth to stitch the New Spring rain pattern I stitched up this Easter piece--

And I finished it off into  a little pillow--

and before I did this one--I had stitched this piece up--

I found this cute little thin black chalkboard hanger at Dollar Tree and decided it was perfect for this Easter piece--next Spring when I bring it out--I do need to add a button or ribbon to the top center piece where I glued the 2 ends of the braid together--

And then here in all her glory is Mrs. Rabbit the protector of baby chicks during a rain storm--

I loved stitching this piece--and yes--you know me--had to do a couple color changes--the umbrella is a different color as is the '3' tulips--again --I need a button or ribbon on the center bottom to cover up where the 2 braids are coming together--I did get better at joining them in the next '2' projects--

Here is to finishes for these 2 older cross stitches and they got some braid trim around them too--the bottom one's fabric background is much lighter color in primitive blues--these are ready to hang on the wall now--

And so--while I am in the waiting time again for a couple pieces of cloth in yellows to do Melisa's Summer stitch along--guess who got to come out of --Time out--???

Mrs. Claus--

I worked hard on getting the rest of that rocking chair in--I still need to do more stitching on that bottom runner--then-- I can play with some colors besides ---browns---I am really tired of browns!!!!

but as you can see--I still have lots of stitching to do--I am thinking of doing a blue rug --instead of green--what do you think?????

Did get a few more pink jewels done--

These are pretty much done--except when I find new/more pink fabric in my stash or such--

And I am finally back to hand quilting--seems --I took about 3 months off--not sure why--???

Lots of hand quilting on this one!!!

And two more baby sweaters are ready for buttons--

My bag of finished sweaters is full--so need to take a day and sew on buttons--think I will call my local quilt club to see if there is a local organization here in FL-- I can give these or some of these to--shipping is gotten so expensive--to ship a box of them to PA--would be around $30--I can get some more yarn for that money--these sweaters I am using up odds and ends of skeins of my cotton yarns!!

WELL--THIS IS MY FINISHES FOR NOW--FEELS GOOD TO HAVE SO MANY FINISHES FOR A CHANGE---HAVE YOU GOTTEN ANY FINISHES LATELY--SHARE THEM WITH ME--

AND--I AM DELIGHTED TO THE FEW WHO ALWAYS COMMENT--MY COMMENTS DO NOT GO TO MY EMAIL AS IT IS SUPPOSE TO--AND I AM TRIED OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY--NEED TO KEEP STITCHING INSTEAD--SO A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO YOU!!

HUGS, AND ENJOY THE WEEK AND THE SPRING WEATHER--DI

Your little purple house is adorable, Di! I love how you have those tiny houses hanging from the tree. Lots of fun stitching going on at your house!

I hope you can find an organization that would love those beautiful knitted sweaters in your area as shipping is expensive and you could buy a lot more yarn for that price. Kathy

The bunny stitches are as sweet as can be and love your Dollar Tree finish. I will keep my eye out for the chalkboard at mine. The Mrs. Claus- stocking is gorgeous.I have been stitching on Christmas projects too. Have a wonderful week . Warm hugs.
