It's a Happy Day for '2' reasons--
First it's Mothers Day-

and Second--I am hopefully over the terrible allergies!!!
I started feeling some better on Wednesday and each day it has gotten better--along with plus a little of my 'mo-jo' is back--
I did get this months mini embroidery finished from Jenny--
One day last week I was 'window' shopping for a certain project I was working on-and I found the perfect fabric--but--I talked myself out if it cause of the price--well --the very next day--Missouri Quilts had it on sale--so I couldn't push that 'pay' button fast enough--
I got this month's Woven Wreath block done too-
And I am happy to say that Friday I was able to stitch a baby blanket all together--
Now to start another one--and look what my friend in NY sent me for my birthday--
3 more prints of baby blankets--right on!!!
And I got another little sweater finished--
Also that darn Missouri quilts had a sale on the batting I use--and I was getting low--so my funds, also went lower and I did an order--
Oh and one spool of thread--my hand quilting white thread was getting low--the brand I wanted, they were out of stock on--so had to get a different one--hopefully they are all about the same!!!

A mystery--
yesterday on the way to get the bus to go get groceries--I checked my mail box--which you need a key for--and I had a catalog from Connecting Threads in it--so decided to leave it in the box and get it out when I got back from shopping--went shopping came home put everything away and went down to pick up the mail--only--there was nothing in the box--no catalog--WHAT?????? I did not take it out and I had already unloaded the tote bags I took shopping, so I knew it wasn't there--SO--I will have to see what the office has to say about it on Monday--??????

Here is a cooking question for you??? Do you rinse your rice before you cook or steam it???
I never have--until my daughter mentioned she was doing it--and then I did read the back of my rice package and it does tell you how to do it also--What--where I have I been ??? So today I did the rinse--and what a difference it made!!!!

I always get 'cheated' as when I get my birthday cards a couple days before Mother's day-it also says--Happy Mother's day!!!!
Lol. It a got tickled on how you got cheated out of 2 cards, Di. It is hard when birthdays are near holidays. So glad to hear you found the perfect fabric and on sale to boot. Lots of pretties are in the works. I hope you have a great week. Hugs.

Looks like you've been busy with projects! Pretty new fabric from Missouri Star, too. I really like how you're stitching the Woven Wreaths in your own color choices. Hope you solve the mystery of the missing catalogue!
